1st Annual Lay Ups for Literacy

On Saturday, December 15^th, approximately 100 Spokane Valley girl’s basketball players shot lay-ups steadily for three hours to raise money for the Success by Six Children’s Book Bank and First Book-Spokane literacy program in our First Annual Lay-Ups for Literacy Community Service Project. All moneys raised by the Lay-Ups for Literacy are going towards the purchasing of high-quality books for these programs and help public awareness to the growing trend of illiteracy in the Spokane area.
